CallGet a free audit

HVAC Google Ads, split by repair, replacement and maintenance, and tracked to the booked job.

A repair call, a $12k replacement and a tune-up are three different searches with three different values. We run HVAC PPC that keeps them apart, pairs Search with Local Services Ads, moves budget with the seasons and tracks every call to the job it turned into.

New, and upfront about it.

Ammett opened in 2026, so you won't find client logos here yet. You deal with one person, Sergei Kovtun, in Aliso Viejo. How the pilot works →

Three HVAC searches, three campaigns

“AC not cooling” at 4 PM in August, “AC replacement cost” on a Sunday, and “furnace tune-up near me” in October are different people. One wants a tech today. One is getting three quotes for a large job and may finance it. One wants a low-cost visit and may become a maintenance plan member. Putting them in one campaign with one budget means the cheap, plentiful repair clicks eat the money, and replacement searches get whatever’s left.

So we split HVAC PPC by job:

  • Repair: AC repair, heating and furnace repair, heat pump repair. Tight service area, call-focused ads, highest bids in your busiest hours.
  • Replacement and installation: new AC, furnace, heat pump, mini-splits. Separate budget, ads that mention financing if you offer it, landing pages built for a quote request.
  • Maintenance: tune-ups and plan signups, run mostly in spring and fall when techs have room.

Each campaign gets its own landing page, its own budget and its own report line.

Local Services Ads and Search, working together

Local Services Ads sit above the regular ads with the Google Verified badge, and you pay per lead rather than per click. Google checks your license and insurance before they run, and we handle that setup with you. LSA is good for repair calls. Search ads give you more control: which jobs, which cities, which hours, which words. We run both, keep your categories and service area clean in LSA, dispute leads that fall outside Google’s rules, and compare the two on booked jobs.

Tracking to the booked job, not the click

Before a dollar of ad budget is spent, call tracking and form tracking go live and get tested with real calls. Every call is recorded with the caller hearing that it’s recorded, and tagged by campaign. Then we go one step further: where your Housecall Pro, Jobber or ServiceTitan account allows, we match calls to the jobs and estimates they became. That’s the number that matters. A campaign with cheap calls that never book is worse than one with fewer, pricier calls that turn into replacements.

Budgets that follow the weather

HVAC demand swings with the temperature. We set a seasonal plan with you: when to push repair budgets ahead of a heat wave or a cold snap, when to run maintenance, when to pull back because your schedule is full. If your techs are booked three days out, buying more repair calls just frustrates customers. The plan is written down, and changes show up in the weekly note.

Negative keywords, every week

HVAC searches attract plenty of clicks you don’t want: “hvac jobs”, “hvac school”, “car ac repair”, “window unit”, DIY part searches, cities you don’t serve. We review the search terms every week, add negatives and cut what wastes budget. You see the list in the weekly note.

Landing pages that match the ad

An ad for “AC repair in Irvine” should land on a page about AC repair in Irvine, with a tap-to-call button, your hours and your license number, not on your home page. We use a landing page for each campaign: repair pages built for a fast call, replacement pages built for a quote request with financing info if you offer it, maintenance pages built for a plan signup. If your website can’t support that yet, we build the pages under our website service or tell you in the audit what’s missing. A good campaign sending people to a page that buries the phone number wastes the budget either way.

What we don’t promise

We don’t promise a cost per lead, a number of calls or a ranking. Nobody honestly can. We don’t make cold calls or send cold texts on your behalf. Every ad shows your CSLB license number, as California requires in advertising. And all accounts stay in your name, so if you leave, the history and the data stay with you.

What kind of business do you run?

Tap yours. Four more quick questions, then Sergei builds your free audit around the answers.

Questions, answered.

We got burned by an agency. Why is this different?

Fair question. Month to month with 30 days' notice, no 12-month contract. Every account, site and listing stays in your name, so you can leave with everything. You deal with Sergei, not an account manager. And if the free audit shows you don't need us, it says so.

How much should an HVAC company spend on Google Ads?

It depends on your area, your trade mix and how many jobs your techs can take. The free audit gives you a starting range based on real search volume and cost per click in your service area. We'd rather start smaller with tracking that works than spend big blind.

Can you guarantee a cost per lead?

No. Nobody controls what competitors bid or how many people's AC breaks this week. We promise the work: clean campaign structure, tested tracking, weekly search-term review and a monthly report with real numbers from your own accounts.

Local Services Ads or Google Ads?

Usually both. LSA shows at the top with the Google Verified badge and charges per lead, and you can dispute leads that don't fit Google's rules. Search ads give you more control over which jobs and which cities you show for. We set up both and compare them on booked jobs, not just calls.

Can you track which calls turned into jobs?

Yes, if your field-service software allows it. With Housecall Pro, Jobber or ServiceTitan we match calls by phone number and date to the job or estimate. Where that's not possible, a weekly review of call recordings does the same job by hand.

What about slow seasons?

We plan the year with you. Budgets go up ahead of forecast heat waves and cold snaps, maintenance campaigns run in spring and fall, and spend drops when your schedule is already full.

What does it cost?

Ads management is part of Operator, from $2.5k/mo, which also covers listings, reviews and AI agents. Ad spend goes to Google directly. Month to month, with a written price after the free audit.
