Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of ammett.com (the "site"). Ammett is operated by FTA Group, LLC, 2 Torres Pointe, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 ("Ammett," "we," "us").
When you send a request through our audit form, the line next to the send button tells you that by sending it you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. Sending the form is how you agree. The general rules below also describe how we expect the site to be used by anyone who visits it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our forms.
The site is meant for people 18 or older acting for themselves or for a business. If you use it for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that business.
Our services are covered by a separate agreement
These terms cover the website only. Any audit, project or ongoing service for a client is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both sides, such as a master services agreement and statement of work. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls for that work.
Prices, packages and timelines described on the site are a general guide. They become binding only when they are written into a signed agreement or accepted proposal.
Free audits
When you request an audit, you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you are allowed to ask about the business you name. Audits are based on publicly available information and, where we say so, one test inquiry sent through the business's own website form. We disclose that test in the report. An audit is our professional opinion at a point in time. It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and there is no obligation to buy anything.
Paid audits
The deep audit costs $497. It includes everything in the free audit, plus a review of your ads, analytics, call tracking and listings using view-only access you grant, a 30-minute video walkthrough of the findings, and a 90-day plan in order of impact. Its price is credited in full toward your first project with us.
Nothing is sold or charged on this site. If you ask for a deep audit, we first confirm the scope with you, then send an invoice. Work starts after the invoice is paid. Payment, delivery and refund terms are the ones stated in that invoice or written proposal.
Paid audits are sold by Ammett, which is operated by FTA Group, LLC, 2 Torres Pointe, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656. A written proposal or agreement for the audit, if we send one, controls over this summary.
Information on this site
Content on the site is general information about digital marketing, websites, advertising and AI tools for local businesses. It is not legal, financial or other professional advice for your situation. We try to keep it accurate and current but do not promise that it is complete or up to date.
Examples and illustrations
Some pages show sample websites, dashboards, reports, conversations, businesses, names and numbers to explain how our work could look. These are fictional and are labeled "Example." They are not real clients, real results or testimonials. When we show real client work or quotes, we do so only with the client's permission and say so.
No guarantee of results
Marketing results depend on many things we do not control, including search engines, ad platforms, competitors, the market, and how a business answers and handles its leads. We do not guarantee any number of leads, calls, bookings, search rankings, map positions, traffic, revenue or return on ad spend. Any figures on the site, including benchmarks and estimates, describe what is possible or typical, not what you will get.
Accessibility
We aim to make this site usable for everyone and work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on a best-effort basis. Some parts may not yet meet that standard. If you have trouble using any part of the site, email info@ammett.com and we will help you get the information another way and work to fix the problem.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or submit information about a person or business you have no right to share;
- send spam, malware or automated submissions through our forms;
- try to get unauthorized access to the site, its hosting or our systems, or interfere with how they work;
- scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission;
- pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your connection with a business.
We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.
Our content and trademarks
The site's text, design, graphics and code belong to Ammett or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own business use. Any other use needs our written permission. "Ammett" and our logo are our marks.
Third-party names, platforms and links
The site mentions platforms and products such as Google, Meta, Yelp and others. Those names and logos belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not mean we are partnered with, endorsed by or certified by them, unless we clearly say so.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
Text messages
If you check the box on our audit form, Ammett will send you up to 3 text messages about that audit request, such as scheduling a call or a link to your report. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help, or email info@ammett.com or call (949) 244-4348. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.
Messages you send us
If you send us ideas or feedback about our services or the site, you agree that we may use them without owing you anything. Please do not send confidential information through the site's forms. If we need sensitive information for a project, we will agree on a secure way to share it.
Disclaimer
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ammett and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from use of this site or reliance on its general informational content.
For claims that may lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from the site will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us specifically for access to the site during the 12 months before the claim.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, violation of law, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under California Civil Code §1668.
Indemnity
You will indemnify Ammett against a third-party claim, and reasonable resulting costs, to the extent caused by your unlawful use of the site, your knowing infringement of another person's rights, or information you submit without authority. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by Ammett's negligence, willful misconduct or violation of law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Changes to the site and these terms
We may change or remove parts of the site at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply from the time they are posted, to requests sent after that. A request you already sent stays under the terms that applied when you sent it.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not waived it. These terms and the Privacy policy are the full agreement between you and us about the site.
